Description:

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Security and Compliance Platform Engineering organization is looking for a Software Developer 3 to design and build the next generation of AI-driven cybersecurity solutions at a global cloud scale. In this role, you will work on highly scalable, low-latency distributed systems that ingest and process massive volumes of telemetry and security events across OCI. You will be responsible for building cloud-native microservices, designing large-scale data pipelines, and implementing autonomous security platforms using Generative AI (GenAI), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations to mitigate cyber threats in real time.

Requirements:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with 3 to 5+ years of production-level software engineering experience.
  • At least 3+ years of hands-on experience architecting, deploying, and operating public cloud systems (preferably OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Direct experience building AI-powered applications, engineering AI agents, handling MCP integrations, or working with intelligent automation workflows and LLMs.
  • Strong experience working with big data technologies, distributed data platforms, large-scale processing systems, or backend ETL pipelines.
  • High proficiency in at least one modern language such as Java, Kotlin, Python, or C#, backed by exceptionally strong data structures and software design fundamentals.
  • Practical experience managing microservices architectures using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, an analytical problem-solving mindset, and a strong ownership attitude.
  • Exposure to observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana), CI/CD setups (Jenkins, GitLab), vector databases, RAG architectures, or MLOps practices.
